We respectfully ask that ALL our players adhere to the rules of the site and chat
rooms at all times and please allow our Chat Host's known as SLH’s to do their jobs
to the best of their abilities.
We understand that from time to time you may not agree with the handling of a situation
or a decision that has been taken. On these occasions we ask that you refer your
complaint to:

The Chat Rules
The owner of an account is responsible for their account at all times. Children
(persons younger than 18 years of age) are not permitted in chat rooms at any time.
The site is strictly for responsible adults only. In the event that a minor gains
access to a player’s account, the actions of the minor could result in your account
being disabled, and may even lead to the account being terminated.
Please do not allow members of your family or friends to access your account. Should
they misbehave in chat and the SLH suspect or be told that this is not you on the
account this will result in an instant ban on the account and you will be disabled
from chat.
Please make all newbie’s welcome. It can be very hard to join a new site and enter
the chat room where players may already have forged friendships; don’t give them
a hard time for asking questions or winning. Make them feel welcome and include
them in your conversations. Remember we have all been a newbie once!
The site will accept no form of bullying or intimidation within any of the chat
areas. Anyone that is found to be doing this will be reprimanded and your chat maybe
restricted. Please remember that what you may find jestful may be very hurtful to
others
We ask that when in the chat room players must please refrain from using any bad
language, abbreviated bad language, making racial, political, derogatory or religious
remarks. What you might think is OK may be quite offensive to another player. We
also kindly ask you refrain from chatting up or making sexual remarks to other players.
This is not a dating site and such actions can cause offence.
Don’t add fuel to the fire. If a comment or player upsets you, then please address
it with the SLH who may, if necessary, take you to a quiet area to find out what
has happened. Please do not retaliate with a rude comment as this then will spiral
into an argument. These situations tend to go away if no fuel is been added. If
you are not in agreement with someone, then agree to disagree and move on and not
tell it destroy the friendly atmosphere of the site.
Always think about how comments you make will be received. It is not uncommon for
things to come out wrong or to sometimes say things we don’t mean. THINK before
taking that leap: Will it sound rude? Will my comment offend other roomies? REMEMBER:
It’s always better to be nice!
SLH's, are here to make your visit to our site an enjoyable one. Please be respectful
of the SLH and any decisions that they may have to make.
SLH's are not here to take sides when players argue, they will offer help if and
where needed, and may give impartial advice. All our SLH's are asked to remain on
‘neutral ground’.
SLH's cannot answer every question at once. When the chat room is busy please have
patience and give them a chance to address all the questions which have been asked
in turn. If your question is missed then please ask the SLH if he or she saw it,
and, if necessary, re-post it.
WHEN YOU TYPE IN CAPS YOU ARE SCREAMINNNNNG!! SLH's are the only contributors who
may use caps lock in the Chat Room. Please refrain from using caps lock except for
when making your shout to claim a chat game. If you use your caps lock players may
take offence and the SLH's will warn you to revert to small caps. Repeated infraction
of this rule may result in your chat privileges being removed.
SmartLive Bingo Bucks can only be awarded for playing chat room games please don't
ask other players for Bingo Bucks as a refusal can cause offence.
ALL SLH’s have the power to mute or remove anyone from chat who is not being respectful
towards their fellow roomies or the site. We politely ask that you try to keep your
personal information to yourself ANY players who post their personal details to
another player in the chat room such as email addresses, bank information, telephone
numbers, Instant Messaging address etc. will be banned from chat without discussion.
This is for your own security.
If you strongly wish to exchange any details then our SLH may direct you to a secure
area. However this will be done at your own risk and the SLH and the Site will not
be liable should you receive any emails or spam of an unkind nature. The decision
of the SLH is final and this decision will be communicated to the Bingo Manager.
SLH's will NEVER give players their personal details. Please do not ask them to!
Not having a good day?? Then please don’t make a player that is having a good day
feel uncomfortable; wish them well - it could be you winning tomorrow! So please
refrain from phrases such as: “You’re booked” or “You’re winning loads, give us
a break” etc. Numbers are randomly generated and therefore neither the player nor
the site has the ability to determine the outcome of the game. Be happy for all
our winners!!
We do not appreciate players posting other gaming websites in the chat room, and
you will be banned for this action. You will then have to make an application to
the Bingo Manager to have your account re-enabled for chat facilities. The Bingo
Manager will notify you of the outcome of any decision.
Player aliases must not be preceded by the prefix #SLH#, SLH, CM or CH, and must
be in good taste. At the sole discretion of management, the site reserves the right
to request that a Player change their alias if it is considered in anyway distasteful.
Should the Player refuse to change their alias or contact Help Desk via ticket with
a suitable alternative within a 48 hour period, the account will be permanently
disabled from chat.
Our Help Desk can sometimes become very busy. If you have submitted a request and
have not received a response, please do not make any complaint in the chat room.
Please allow our staff the necessary time of 24hrs to make contact with you. Some
issues make take longer to resolve, and this is more likely to be the case if the
ticket has been put through over the weekend period.
